Job Overview
CEP is actively seeking a Production Assistant (PA) to support the Production Manager in all aspects of the event production to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The PA must be able to follow a detailed event plan to keep track of numerous time-sensitive tasks, from the pre-planning process to day-of event logistics. The ideal candidate must be positive, highly energetic and committed. The candidate must also be able to multitask, problem-solve and work both proactively and reactively in a fast-pasted environment.
Responsibilities and Duties

Assist during the production process daily, performing numerous tasks as needed including distributing production schedules, coordinating between departments

Manage the distribution and/or printing of the daily paperwork (e.g. scripts, run of show, call sheets, etc.)

Assist in venue design, script rewrites and other tasks assigned to you by the producer or President & CEO

Suggest creative or practical changes to scripts or run of show to help improve production value and save money

Create timelines for preparation and outline of team roles & responsibilities

Create detailed day-of-event schedules for the production crew

Provide recommendations on pre-and post-event communications

Ability to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, overnight travel, holidays, etc.

Must be a reliable, self-motivated and independent worker who is also comfortable working in small and large group situations, as well as various work environments, as needed

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Minimum Requirements

Excellent technical and writing skills

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency using internet-based programs
