Job Overview

CEP is actively seeking a Production Manager (PM) to help produce small and large scale events.  The Production manager will provide pre-event, on-site and post-event support. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing events, coordinating logistics and some knowledge of production equipment.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in creating budgetary requirements and tracking the financial aspects of the department

  • Create and maintain inventory and maintenance log

  • Create daily and weekly production schedule

  • Assist in scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelines

  • Maintain regular communications with venue and client

  • Assist in managing stage, sound, and lighting crews

  • Ensure information is distributed to Operations Managers in a timely basis

  • Maintain accurate vendor records

  • Document and deliver disciplinary actions to production crew

  • Support product management and business operations

  • Write a run of show

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to make clear, concise decisions; sometimes with limited information

  • Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule (days/nights, late hours, weekends, and/or holidays)

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication, computer and writing skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency using internet based programs

  • Some knowledge of stage/sound/lighting/video equipment

  • Very strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail
